Turning Curiosity into a Calling

For Shilpa, spirituality wasn’t planned - it was a whisper that grew louder until she had no choice but to listen.

Her tarot journey began out of curiosity, but soon became a deep soul practice. “I started by reading for friends and family,” she says, “and everyone kept telling me to do it professionally - including Harri!”

Then came the moment that changed everything. Shilpa received a message from a spirit for a grieving family she didn’t even know. “I thought - what will they think of me? But something inside said, just do it.” The message turned out to be incredibly accurate, offering peace and closure. That moment awakened her mediumship abilities - and she’s never looked back.

Facing the Fear and Doing It Anyway

Fear once held Shilpa back from stepping into her light. But a quote changed everything: “Face the fear and do it anyway.”

That mantra became her compass. “If I didn’t try, I’d always wonder what if?” she says. “Now I trust the universe to guide me. Even if something doesn’t work out, there’s always a lesson behind it.”

Whether it’s joining a last-minute event, doing public readings, or launching her courses, Shilpa now leads with surrender - trusting her spirit guides and higher self to handle the details.

Tarot with Intuition, Not Instruction

Shilpa’s tarot readings aren’t your typical “card A means this” type. “I don’t just read the textbook meanings,” she explains. “When I connect with someone’s energy, I channel their story. It’s about guidance - not prediction.”

Her approach blends tarot and oracle cards for both practical and higher-level insights. “Tarot shows what’s happening in your life. Oracle cards offer gentle wisdom from your higher self - a reminder to fill your own cup.”

Mediumship: Healing Beyond the Veil

Mediumship is often misunderstood, especially in the South Asian community. “Many believe contacting spirit disturbs them,” she says. “But that’s not true - they only come if they choose to.”

Her readings often bring comfort and closure to families. “It’s not about fear,” she adds. “It’s about love, connection and healing.”

One of her most memorable experiences happened years ago in a nursery she worked in - where she regularly sensed a friendly spirit presence. “Every morning when I opened the door, the toy animals would start making sounds,” she recalls with a smile. “Eventually I’d just say, ‘Good morning, whoever you are,’ and carry on.”

Empowering Women Through Spirit

Over time, a clear pattern emerged in her readings: messages around empowering women. “At first I thought it was coincidence,” she says. “But every reading carried the same message: empower the women.”

Now, her mission is clear - to help women trust their intuition, rediscover their spiritual gifts, and reclaim their divine feminine energy. “We’re spiritual beings having a human experience,” she says. “It’s time we stopped just existing and started truly living.”

She’s already begun teaching courses like Introduction to Psychic Senses and Card Reading for Beginners to help others awaken their intuition. “We all have this gift - it’s just been buried under layers of conditioning. My role is to help people peel those layers back.”

Breaking Taboos and Owning Her Power

For years, Shilpa kept her abilities hidden for fear of judgment. “In our culture, being a medium is taboo,” she says. “But two years ago, I decided I didn’t care what people thought. Those who judge will judge anyway. I’m here to live my truth.”

Today, she’s unapologetically visible - reading publicly, sharing her insights inside her Facebook group and helping others navigate their own awakening journeys.

Her next goal? To design her own intuitive tarot deck - one channelled directly through divine messages. “It won’t be generic,” she says. “It’ll come from spirit.”

The Rise of the Divine Feminine

Shilpa’s work is deeply tied to the rise of feminine energy. “For too long, the world has been dominated by masculine energy - control, chaos, conflict,” she says. “Now, the divine feminine is rising. Women are stepping into healing roles, becoming energy workers, and balancing the planet again.”
